Our SDHQ Built winch mount is designed specifically for the 2010-2014 Ford Raptor, provides a clean and functional design that will compliment your truck as well as provide a safe mounting point for your winch.

The SDHQ Winch mount was designed specifically for use on the 2010-2014 (Gen1) Ford Raptor but will work on all other 2010-2014 Ford F150s except for the “Ecoboost.” The SDHQ winch mount has been designed for the Warn Zeon Series winches.

1. WARN ZEON 10 Winch – 10,000-lb capacity, steel cable
2. WARN ZEON 10-S Winch – 10,000-lb capacity, synthetic rope
3. WARN ZEON 12 Winch – 12,000-lb capacity, steel cable
4. WARN ZEON 12-S Winch – 12,000-lb capacity, synthetic rope

• Capacity Differences:

  • 10,000 lbs (ZEON 10 models) – Suitable for your Raptor in most off-road recovery scenarios.
  • 12,000 lbs (ZEON 12 models) – Better for heavy-duty use, like pulling other vehicles or if your truck is loaded with gear.

• Steel Cable vs. Synthetic Rope:

  • Steel Cable (ZEON 10 & ZEON 12) – More durable in harsh environments, better for rocky terrain but heavier.
  • Synthetic Rope (ZEON 10-S & ZEON 12-S) – Lighter, safer, and easier to handle, ideal for regular off-road recovery.

Which winch is best for me and my use? 

1. Best Overall for a Ford Raptor:

   • WARN ZEON 10-S Winch (10,000 lbs, synthetic rope)
   • Reason: Your Raptor weighs around 6,000 lbs stock, and with gear, it may be close to 7,000–8,000 lbs. A 10,000-lb winch is sufficient with the recommended safety margin (1.5x vehicle weight).
   • Synthetic rope is lighter and safer for off-road recoveries.

2. For Heavy-Duty Use or Overlanding:

   • WARN ZEON 12-S Winch (12,000 lbs, synthetic rope)
   • Reason: If your Raptor is carrying a lot of gear or towing, the 12,000-lb capacity ensures a stronger pull.

3. For Harsh Environments (Mud, Rocks, Water):

   • WARN ZEON 10 Winch (10,000 lbs, steel cable)
   • Reason: Steel cable is more resistant to abrasion from rocks and mud.

4. For Maximum Pulling Power in Tough Conditions:

Best Choice for Your Ford Raptor
