Why upgrade to this billet top hat?
- The Phase 2 Billet Top Hat will add spring preload and provide about 1.5" of lift in the front while still using the stock springs.

The OEM top hat relies on a rubber bushing (pictured below), which is prone to failure, especially when aftermarket springs are installed.
- Failure of the factory bushing can allow the shock to drop out of the spring bucket, potentially damaging other suspension components.

- The original billet top hat uses a 3/4" FK uniball, while the new Heavy Duty Billet Top Hat features a WSSX14T 7/8" uniball, nearly doubling the strength of the standard design.
- A threaded top retainer prevents the uniball ring clip from coming loose, keeping the bearing securely in place.
- The retainer is also designed to support the side of the bearing race at its thinnest, highest-pressure area, extending the life of the uniball under extreme loads.
