Looking to step up your Raptor R's performance, but not break the bank or go crazy with the build? Our new Stock Plus Package allows you to do just that. We developed this package for those looking to keep the factory supercharger and pump gas, while still gaining power and better transmission performance with the tune included. You may be asking what we include in this package? This package includes a pulley upgrade with the hardware and hub needed for install, a bolt on catch can, intake and a custom tune. We have noticed these trucks with just the stage 1 tune we offer, pickup nearly 140 HP! With a pulley addition to that we are sitting right around a net 160 HP gain. This in conjunction with the catch can and intake will offer safe gains along with a noticeable difference in supercharger whine.
Note: Reducing pulley size by 0.100" roughly equals a +1 PSI boost, depending on altitude
Application | Pulley Size | Boost Increase | Why This Size Works |
---|---|---|---|
Mild Street / Conservative Setup | 2.8" | ~+1 PSI | Slight bump from stock, keeps belt geometry ideal, requires minimal tuning effort. |
Aggressive Street / Weekend Warrior | 2.6" | ~+3 PSI | Strong power gains, still safe on stock truck with a tune, most popular upgrade size. |
Track / High Performance Build | 2.4" | ~+5 PSI | Serious boost increase — requires supporting mods (cooling, fuel, tuning, etc). |
Optional addition: SPE Thermostat
During initial testing with the truck, it became clear that reducing the operating temperature of the primary cooling system would offer significant benefits. The GT500 platform is known for heat soak issues, largely due to the factory-installed high-temperature thermostat, which was primarily chosen to meet emissions standards.
SPE has spent over a year developing a solution based on Ford’s dual thermostat design, and has successfully engineered an upgraded thermostat for the 2023+ Raptor R. This upgrade reduces coolant temperatures by over 25 degrees, while maintaining full system functionality. Additionally, the SPE thermostat is built with performance in mind, offering increased flow capacity and rapid cooling response when activated. We recommend adding this, IT IS WORTH IT.
