All new from our friends over at Fox is the updated Fox 3.0 shock for the First Generation Ford Raptor. These shocks are now cerakoted in black which is much more durable and physically appealing. These also feature black anodized CNC machined components for that clean finish. These shocks have also been custom valved by Fox for the First Generation Ford Raptor, ready to put in work. You are able to select whether you would like your front coilovers to be adjustable via DSC which is a knob on the reservoir. DSC allows you to adjust your compression in high or low speed ranges. We highly recommend adding this feature to your shocks as it is crucial when getting your ride comfort zone dialed. The rear shocks in this package feature this same technology and are fully adjustable in compression and rebound. 

As an industry leader, FOX has always prioritized racing in our product development. The 3.0 Factory Race Series Coil-over Internal Bypass shocks utilize position-sensitive technology to maximize wheel travel, increase oil capacity, and provide 60% more damping area compared to standard FOX SVT shocks. These shocks offer a comfortable and predictable ride for typical off-roading, but also have the ability to ramp up damping force for extreme conditions. Made with heavy-duty steel bodies and anodized billet aluminum components, they feature race-bred internal valving and can easily be installed on your existing mounts. The integrated coil spring can be adjusted for preload and ride height, and comes pre-set to level your vehicle. With 2.5 inch remote reservoirs and a -10 hose for increased cooling, the Factory Race Series 3.0 Coil-over Internal Bypass shocks utilize the same high-quality components as our winning Trophy Truck shocks. This being steel shock shafts, PTFE-lined spherical bearings, proprietary racing oil and high-temp Viton® seals. Pair these shocks with aftermarket leaf springs and bump stop kits to unleash the SVT Raptors true off-road capabilities.

 

What is DSC? 

DSC = Dual Speed Compression

Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjusters give you two separate knobs:

  • High-speed compression (HSC) – controls how the shock responds to big hits (like jumps, whoops, or potholes).

  • Low-speed compression (LSC) – controls the shock’s behavior in slow suspension movements (like cornering, braking, or body roll).

Should you get this option?

You should get DSC (Dual Speed Compression) on your FOX shocks if you want maximum control and performance tuning for both on-road and off-road driving.
