Walmer's Gen 1 TSP ELITE Build

Clean enough to eat a full course meal off of, this Raptor is an absolute beauty. As an original terrain 2014 Ford Raptor, this truck started it's life as a bone stock raptor, till it got the TSP ELITE Package. We had the honor of working with Josh and his wife Terri on this immaculate build and took every step with precise execution. Take a gander at this build, and admire the TSP quality that comes with it.

Front Suspension

Up front, we equipped this truck with a full RPG B.O.L.T Kit which is a bolt on Mid travel kit ready to mob the trails and Starbucks parking lots. Pulling an aggressive 16.5" of travel up front you have full control on and offroad. This build utilizes our Fox package, that being a Fox 3.0 DSC front coilover, matched by a custom Fox 3.0 secondary bypass. With this, the driver has full control of the truck on and offroad with the shocks' full range of compression and rebound adjustments. Also featured, are the KHC conversion buckets which are not only stronger than the factory steel buckets, but they also allow the gen 1 raptor to accept the gen 2 raptor suspenison.

Front Bumper Package

This build is equipped with the SVC Off-road Baja front bumper coupled with a 30" Onx6 Light bar ready to light up the night time trails. This is a frame cut front bumper, built to achieve the best approach angle.

Rear Bumper Package

This build is rocking the SVC V3 rear bumper which like the front is a frame cut bumper for the best departure angle. With built in provisions for lighting you can customize this bumper to your own liking here at TSP Parts.

Wheel and Tire Package

With offroad performance in mind, we dialed this truck in with the most appropriate package for this customers intentions. On all four corners and in the bed, youll see 6 BFG KM3 Mud Terrains accompanied by 6 Method 703 Bead grip wheels in black. This package allows the user to air down to a low PSI without the worry of de-beading their tire from the wheel. The BFG KM3 is a phenomenal tire that isn't noisy like other MT's yet offers excellent traction and strength offroad.

Fiberglass

Working with our pals over at Advanced Fiberglass Concepts, we got this truck dialed in with a set of ADV +2 front fenders to accommodate both the larger tire size, and extra suspension travel + width. These fenders are 2" wider and taller than stock, allowing for the proper clearance for this trucks tire and suspension package.

Under the Hood

With just short of 700HP, this truck is equipped with our Gen 1 Raptor Whipple Supercharger package. With a massive 2.9L blower, High flow GT500 Throttle Body, High flow intercooler and heat exchanger, this package has everything needed to get your 2010-2014 Raptor ripping on the street or trails. If you are ready to step up your performance game, this kit is for you.

Inside the Cockpit

This truck was built to party, while keeping it fully street legal, daily driveable and most of all confortable as this is a family rig. Up front this truck is running a bolt on harness bar, PRP race harnesses, and a full intercom system for radio chat on the trails. Then we have our comms, this truck was built with the intention of going trailing with the family and raptor runs. We utilized a Lowrance BAJA HDS unit to map out trails and have live updates along the path.

Rear Suspension

With a massive 18" of rear suspension travel, this truck is ready to eat up anything that gets thrown at it. Out back, this raptor is equipped with a custom bypass rack, Fox 3.5" bypasses, Deaver Leaf springs, RPG drop shackles and an RPG Bump stop kit. We now offer a full kit with this shock, shackle and spring package by clicking HERE.

Deaver Leaf Springs

We use Deaver on almost every build we are a part of, and thats for one reason. Quality. We are utilizing a Deaver +4.5 leaf pack on this build to not only handle the rear weight this truck has, but also to work hand in hand with the massive 16" bypass shocks. This combo is custom tuned and configured to work with one another and perform flawlessly on and offroad without losing any daily driver capability. With this upgrade, the truck feels significantly more planted in the rear, while gaining more travel in the end as well. Talk about two birds one stone!

Custom Bed Cage

We worked hand in hand with one of our manufacturers to develop this one off bypass rack system. From pen and paper drawings we developed here at TSP, to reality thanks to our fabricators. This bed cage system utilizes built in bypass shock mounts, bed supports, a dual tire carrier platform, tie down points, a built in light bar manual actuator, third brake light slot, fuel canister trays, fire extinguisher mounts, and a jack tray. Everything the customer wanted, we made happen. It's what we do best here at TSP. Make our customers dream become a reality.

Custom Bed Cage

With custom in mind, this bed cage shows off its built in 50" light bar mount that is fully adjustable. Our client wanted to keep the third brake light visible so we kept this in mind with the design. As a full tube constructed rack, this system is designed to withstand the worst conditions offroad. Up top, you can see the Lowrance GPS Module which is linked to the GPS unit inside the cockpit for lie data tracking no matter where you are in the world.

Rear end from a distance

With a massive 18" of travel in the rear, as you can see this truck loves a good leg stretch. These trucks are front end heavy, so on jumps they tend oto nose dive upo landing. So with this in mind we placed the rear tires as far back towards the tailgate as possible in order to acheive the best weight distribution and bed functionality. Now on jumps, this truck will fly on a flat plane, no pun intended.

Protection

We always say protect your investment! We ensured this truck had the proper protection package for its offroad shenanigans. We went ahead and threw on a full KHC skid plate kit from the front bumper skit plate all the way through the rear mid section this truck for maximum clearance and protection offroad.

Traction

Traction is a problem with 700HP, so we decided to give this truck a worthy upgrade. The RPG traction bars help reduce axle wrap which is a common flaw with these trucks pushing big amounts of power. This kit is fully bolt on, and allows for bind free suspension geometry.

Rear Bling

Cant have a killer built without some swag points right? This build get a clean RPG billet differential cover. Not only do these look great, but they also feature a built in magnetic drain plug that is made to make servicing a breeze.
